Tennessee opened their series with Florida with a 6-4 win on Friday night. The Vols were led by Chad Dallas, who had 11 strikeouts and Sean Hunley, who entered the game in the 8th inning to finish things off. Evan Russell led the Vols at the plate, going 3-4 with 1 homerun and 3 RBI’s, as the Vols finished the night with 11 hits.

This was a big series opening win for the Vols, as they’ll play game two on Saturday at 7pm ET on SEC Network and try to take the series.
