Tony Vitello Previews Upcoming Series Between Vols And Gators

The #6 Tennessee Vols welcome in #12 Florida this weekend for a huge SEC series at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Tony Vitello and the boys are coming off a series win over Alabama and a mid-week win over Eastern Kentucky.

This will be the Vols biggest test of the season so far, as Florida comes to Knoxville with experienced pitching and hitting. To prove even further how big this game is for fans of the Vols, look no further than the secondary ticket market.

As of Thursday morning, the lowest ticket price to see the Vols play Florida on Friday night is $142 a piece, which indicates how much fans want to see this game. Also, they’re actually selling, so it’s a hot ticket. Due to covid restrictions, seating has been limited at home, but Tony Vitello did mention that AD Danny White is working to increase the crowd size a bit.

Tony Vitello met with the media on Thursday to preview the upcoming series.

Friday night’s game will be broadcasted on the SEC Network+, first pitch is 6:30 ET. Saturday’s game will be shown on the main SEC Network channel.
