The Tennessee football team will hold an open practice for fans on Saturday at Neyland Stadium, the University announced on Thursday.
All fans should enter through Gate 21, and the game day clear bag policy will be in effect. Gate 21 will open beginning at 9:15 a.m. Saturday. Ongoing COVID-19 protocols will be in effect, including face coverings upon entry and movement through the stadium. Physical distancing in the lower bowl of Neyland Stadium will be enforced.
Parking will be available for fans in the G-10 parking garage. The Vols just wrapped up their sixth practice and are scheduled to hold their first scrimmage on Thursday.
This will be a great opportunity, like other schools have done, for the school to build up a bit of excitement for this team. The school announced that they will have concessions and folks should socially distance while inside the stadium.
If weather does become a problem on Saturday, which the forecast predicts, then the team will move indoors and the event will be cancelled. So, be aware of that before making the drive, just a friendly heads up.
