Campbell is a top-50 player according to 247Sports. The publication lists Campbell as the No. 43 overall player in the country, the fifth-best tackle in the nation and the top player from the state of Louisiana. Campbell plays at Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana.
Tennessee offered the 6-foot-6, 280-pound Campbell on Feb. 27 of earlier this year. Campbell holds offers from over 30 schools, including 10 SEC schools. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt are the other SEC schools to offer Campbell in addition to the Vols.
All three of the crystal ball predictions on 247 are in LSU’s favor.
