Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Nathanael: B+
Aside from a couple drops and just one or two areas of miscommunication, the Vols’ pass catchers played very well. Most of the incompletions on the night were because of poor quarterback play. Marquez Callaway made an exceptional catch, Josh Palmer showed he’s capable of filling in once Callaway and Jennings leave this offseason, and freshman Ramel Keyton made two huge catches. Dominick Wood-Anderson was targeted several times, but he only came down with one catch.

The wide receivers did everything asked of them against the Hoosiers, especially without Jauan Jennings in the first half. Ramel Keyton stepped up big in Jennings’ absence, coming up with two catches for 60 yards. Marquez Callaway would have had a touchdown had Guarantano thrown a more accurate pass on time. Josh Palmer looked good leading the team with six catches for 68 yards, and Jennings had a couple of big time catches towards the end of the game to help pick up the win.
