Jay Hardy is easily Tennessee’s top remaining target on their board between now and National Signing Day. Though he’s committed to Auburn, the Vols are going to make him priority No. 1 for January.

Tennessee fans thought the Vols had Hardy in the bag earlier this year, but to the surprise of many, he selected Auburn during a ceremony at his school down in Chattanooga. Auburn tried to get Hardy to sign during the early signing period so his recruitment would be closed, but the four-star defensive lineman elected to keep his recruitment going at least for the next month and a half.

Expect UT to put out the full court press for Hardy, who has already used three of his official visits. Two of those visits have been to Tennessee and Auburn, but don’t count out UT getting him back up to Knoxville for the short drive from Chattanooga for an unofficial visit.

  1. Phillip Fulmer #1 best hire for Tennessee which led to the next best hire in Jeremy Pruitt. Vols are definitely heading back to a team to be reckoned with. I love what is happening at Tennessee?
