Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Nathanael: B+
Tennessee’s receivers weren’t called upon a ton, and early on they weren’t getting a lot of accurate passes their way. But once Guarantano settled in, UT’s pass catchers had a good day even if the stat sheet didn’t reflect it. Dominick Wood-Anderson had his best game of the season, showing off great vision and toughness on a shovel pass reception, and he caught his first touchdown of the season on a good throw. Marquez Callaway made a nice grab, and Jauan Jennings had the longest play of the game in the passing game with a 50-yard reception that was mostly him running after the catch. The wideouts and tight ends also did a good job run blocking for the most part.

Just like Jarrett Guarantano, the wide receivers and tight ends weren’t asked to do a ton — though they did play a big role in the run game as blockers. Jauan Jennings and Marquez Callaway only had two catches and one catch, respectively, in their final game in Neyland Stadium, but Dominick Wood-Anderson was able to haul in a touchdown in his final appearance at home.
