Tennessee shot less than 40 percent from the floor, but they held Chattanooga to under 50 points and came away with a 58-46 win over the Mocs, avenging their 82-69 loss to Chattanooga the last time these two teams met in 2016.
The Vols were led by Lamonte Turner’s 17 points and 12 assists, marking the first time he’s recorded a double-double as a Vol. Fellow senior guard Jordan Bowden also got his first career double-double, totaling 13 points and 12 rebounds. Junior forward John Fulkerson had 14 second half points.
