Tennessee has never seen a display of wide receiver talent in school history like they did on Saturday. Josh Palmer, Jauan Jennings, and Marquez Callaway all eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark against Missouri, marking the first time in program history that the Vols had three different receivers go over 100 receiving yards in the same game. But the stats don’t even tell the whole story; some of the catches UT’s receivers made were just flat out incredible. Callaway caught a touchdown despite the defensive back committing pass interference, Jennings had a great 51-yard reception and broke three tackles on his touchdown catch, and Palmer had two phenomenal catches near the sideline.

Saturday brought back memories of why Tennessee used to be called “Wide Receiver U.”

Ben: A+++++++

Saturday night against Missouri was the best performance from a Tennessee wide receiver group in program history. Josh Palmer hauled in a team-high 124 receiving yards, while Jauan Jennings had 115 yards and Marquez Callaway had 110 yards. It was the first time in Tennessee football history that three different receivers had 100-yard games in the same game. Plus, Jennings and Callaway recorded their fourth 100-yard game of the season. WRU was on full display.
