The Lady Vols played their 500th game inside Thompson-Boling Arena on Tuesday, and like so many games before it, Tennessee emerged victorious.
The No. 23 Lady Vols defeated Stetson 73-46 on Tuesday night, improving to 5-0 in the process and getting the program’s first win as a ranked team under first-year head coach Kellie Harper. After the game, Harper addressed the media about her team’s play.
Harper talked about her team shooting poorly from three in shootaround but shooting well from there in the game, the play of both of her point guards, her team’s defensive philosophy, and much more.
