On Wednesday, Tennessee signed their three commitments in their 2020 recruiting class, bringing in two five-stars and a four-star.
As long as none of the three signees drop in the recruiting rankings between now and the final spring signing period, Tennessee’s 2020 class will be the highest-rated recruiting class in men’s basketball history at UT.
The Vols’ 2020 recruiting class is currently No. 4 in the country on 247Sports. The only teams ahead of Tennessee in the 2020 cycle right now are Duke, North Carolina, and Kentucky. Tennessee’s highest-rated class in the modern recruiting era (2003-present) ranked sixth. The Vols’ 2006 and 2008 classes both ranked No. 6 on 247Sports.
Tennessee picked up signatures from five-star shooting guard Jaden Springer, five-star shooting guard and No. 1 in-state player Keon Johnson, and four-star small forward Corey Walker on Wednesday. On Thursday, Tennessee’s head basketball coach discussed that historic signing class.
