Tennessee trailed Kentucky 13-0 after one quarter of play on Saturday night. But after tat, the Vols stymied the Wildcat offense, and UT’s offense sparked to life in the second half under the guidance of Jarrett Guarantano at quarterback.
The Vols (5-5, 3-3 SEC) scored 17 unanswered points on Saturday night to earn a comeback victory over Kentucky (4-5, 2-5 SEC) in Lexington, defeating the Wildcats 17-13 in front of a packed house in Kroger Field.
For Tennessee, the victory marks their second-straight win over Kentucky and gives the Vols their third-straight win on the season. Tennessee has now won four of their last five games after starting the season 1-4.
