Nathanael: A+

I don’t know how you don’t give Tennessee’s receivers and tight ends an “A+” for Saturday’s game. The only fault I can think of was Austin Pope being flagged as an ineligible downfield receiver that wiped off a touchdown for the Vols. But Tennessee would end up scoring a TD that drive anyway. Other than that, UT’s pass catchers were phenomenal. Marquez Callaway put on a clinic on how to catch jump balls, and Josh Palmer made a couple good grabs, highlighted by that incredible touchdown catch in the third quarter. Jauan Jennings had a quieter game than he’s had the last few weeks, but he was still very productive and caught a handful of first down passes.

Ben: A+

Tennessee has three NFL wide receivers on its roster, and all three were at their very best against Kentucky. Josh Palmer and Marquez Callaway both had tremendous touchdown catches from Guarantano, while Jauan Jennings had multiple catches to pick up a first down. The trio combined for 11 catches, 204 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
