The Lady Vols improved to 2-0 on the season with a 63-36 win over Central Arkansas on Thursday night. The win for Tennessee came in their home opener, and it marked the first official game Kellie Harper had coached as the Lady Vols head coach in Knoxville.
After the game, Harper was asked about her debut in Thompson-Boling Arena as the Lady Vols’ coach, the play of five-star freshman Jordan Horston, her team’s second half defensive intensity, and much more.
Three of Harper’s players also spoke with the media after UT’s win. Freshmen Jordan Horston and Tamari Key joined Lou Brown in the media room after the the Lady Vols’ home-opening victory.
