Tennessee came out and took care of business on Saturday night in Neyland Stadium, handing UAB a 30-7 loss. The Vols won their second-straight game overall and earned their third win in their last four games. The victory also came during UT’s Homecoming.
Several Vols had good games on Saturday, most notably cornerback Bryce Thompson. The sophomore corner tied a school record with three interceptions in the game, with all three coming in the first half. Running back Eric Gray scored the first touchdown of his UT career, and Jauan Jennings, again, was a do-it-all player for the Vols, catching five passes for 70 yards and scoring on a seven-yard run.
After the game, several Vols spoke to the media about Tennessee’s win and their individual performances in the game.
