Tennessee hadn’t gone on a winning streak since early November of last year. That finally changed on Saturday night.
The Vols led from start to finish on Homecoming on Saturday, defeating the UAB Blazers 30-7 in front of 85,000-plus fans in Neyland Stadium. Tennessee forced four turnovers and had UAB shut out until the final three minutes of the game. The win gave the Vols their second-straight victory of the season and brought their overall record to 4-5.
The RTI team grades Tennessee’s performance on a position-by-position basis after every game. Managing editor Nathanael Rutherford and staff writer Ben McKee share their grades after the Vols’ 30-7 victory over UAB.
