Tennessee men’s basketball team got off to their unofficial start to the 2019-20 season on Wednesday night with their lone exhibition game of the preseason.
The Vols took care of business on Wednesday night, defeating Eastern New Mexico 107-59 in Thompson-Boling Arena. Tennessee played most of their roster, and the team got off to a slow start before smashing the gas pedal and pulling away.
After the game, head coach Rick Barnes had plenty to say about his team’s performance in the victory. Barnes discussed the status of a couple players, the amount of turnovers his team had, his impressions of some of his freshmen, his team’s passing, and much more.
