Tennessee hadn’t beaten South Carolina in three-straight games, and they had never beaten head coach Will Muschamp. All that changed on Saturday.
The Vols exchanged blows with the Gamecocks in the first half, but Tennessee hit the gas pedal in the second half and ran away with the game, scoring 24 unanswered points en route to a 41-21 victory over South Carolina. The win marks Tennessee’s second in the last three games, and both have been conference victories.
The RTI team grades Tennessee’s performance on a position-by-position basis after every game. Managing editor Nathanael Rutherford and staff writer Ben McKee share their grades after the Vols’ 41-21 victory over South Carolina.
