Tennessee got their first SEC win of the season on Saturday against Mississippi State. But their next game will prove to be much, much more challenging.
The Vols travel down to Tuscaloosa this upcoming weekend for their annual cross-divisional match-up with Alabama. The No. 1 Crimson Tide have won every game by at least 19 points this season, and they own a 12-game winning streak against Tennessee.
Still, UT’s players aren’t intimidated by the Tide, and several Vol players discussed Tennessee’s upcoming rivalry game.
Vol veterans Trey Smith, Jauan Jennings, Darrell Taylor, Daniel Bituli, Matthew Butler, and Theo Jackson all met with the media on Tuesday afternoon to talk about the Vols’ season, the win against Mississippi State, and UT’s upcoming battle with Alabama among other things.
