Tennessee finally picked up their first win of the 2019 season on Saturday, and they did so in convincing fashion.
The Vols (1-2) shut out UT-Chattanooga (1-2) in Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon, winning 45-0. For Vol fans, watching Tennessee get a much-needed victory after a disastrous start to the 2019 season was a welcome sight.
Tennessee forced five turnovers and blocked a punt against the Mocs, and all three scholarship quarterbacks saw playing time. Six different Vols scored touchdowns, and tons of first and second-year players got to see the field in both the first and second half of the game.
After the game, head coach Jeremy Pruitt discussed what he saw from his team, evaluated the play of his young backup quarterbacks, talked about the play of the defense and special teams, and much more.
