Tennessee vs. Mississippi State, Oct. 12
Nathanael’s Pick
I haven’t had a good feeling about this game for a while. I’m willing to be swayed on this one, especially once we find out which players are going to be suspended for the Bulldogs this season and if they’ll be suspended for the Tennessee game. But I think a lot of people are overlooking Mississippi State just because Nick Fitzgerald is no longer on the team. Don’t let that fool you. MSU still has a lot of talent across the board and could be a bit better this season than people are expecting.
Score: 34-31, Mississippi State
Ben’s Pick
Mississippi State could just as easily win this football game, but I’m giving the edge to the Vols. The key to winning this game will be the development of the offensive line. With Wanya Morris and Darnell Wright having five games under their belt by the time this game rolls around, the offensive line should be much more of a positive for the offense. If it isn’t, Bob Shoop’s talented defense could end up dominating the game. Mississippi State’s offense should be better in 2019 as well with Tommy Stevens at the helm, even with Nick Fitzgerald moving on
Score: 28-27, Tennessee

All that will really matter will be the day that the Vols lose to Vandy for the 4th year in a row!
Ben your take on the BYU game is dumb, but if Jayson says UT will mop BYU, you will back pedal and get Nathaniel to change this article???
