Tennessee at Florida, Sep. 21
Nathanael’s Pick
Tennessee hasn’t won in Gainesville in close to two decades at this point. The Gators aren’t nearly as good as the pollsters seem to think they are this year, in my opinion, but I still think they get the win in this game. The Vols’ offensive line will be better than last year’s, but I still don’t think it’s going to be all that great. Florida was dominant up front against Miami, though they still barely won that game.
All in all, this is a very winnable game for the Vols, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them get the victory here. But I’m not picking Tennessee to beat Florida on the road till I actually see it happen, and it hasn’t happened since I was 10. I’m now 26.
Score: 20-17, Florida
Ben’s Pick
This score is contingent on Tennessee’s offensive line being able to hold up against a tremendous Florida pass-rush. If the Vols can do just that, giving Jarrett Guarantano enough time to get the ball to the playmakers on offense, I like their chances. Just as important, though, is Darrell Taylor and the front-seven getting to the quarterback in order to fluster Feleipe Franks. The BYU game will be telling as to whether or not Tennessee will be able to accomplish either keys to the game.
Score: 24-14, Florida

All that will really matter will be the day that the Vols lose to Vandy for the 4th year in a row!
Ben your take on the BYU game is dumb, but if Jayson says UT will mop BYU, you will back pedal and get Nathaniel to change this article???
