Both Eason and French seem adamant about being a package deal for a college, so it would behoove Tennessee to be on both players’ good sides if they view them as a priority. Just like with French, Eason regularly hears from David Johnson, and Eason has mentioned he wants to come to campus and meet with new Tennessee defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley.

Last season, Eason fought through a nagging ankle injury and still managed to produce well for Whitehaven. He’s also big for an inside linebacker, and he could potentially move outside once in college.

If Ansley can connect well with Eason, then expect him and French both to move up Tennessee’s board. Or rather, expect Eason and French to move Tennessee up their collective boards.

In just seven recorded games last season, Eason recorded 49 tackles and three tackles for loss according to MaxPreps.
