Unlike with his teammate Darin Turner, Tennessee’s momentum with Chris Morris has really picked up as of late, and the Vols appear to be in a very good spot with him.
For a while, it seemed like Morris and UT weren’t on the same page, and Tennessee seemed further behind in his recruitment than other schools. Now, however, there arguably isn’t another team in Morris’ recruitment that has more positive momentum.
Morris is at a position of need, and he could be a big tie to the Memphis area, a big focal point for the Vols. He’s almost a must for UT at this point in the class.
Right now, Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas A&M appear to be the big three teams to watch in Morris’ recruitment. He likely wants to make an announcement before his senior season starts, and his travel plans over the summer will be worth keeping an eye on.
