Tennessee’s offensive line was one of the biggest focuses heading into spring practices, but K’Rojhn Calbert wasn’t a name many were mentioning. That changed pretty quickly, though.

Injuries have kept Calbert from being much of a factor so far in his UT career. He did appear in 10 games last season as a redshirt freshman, but he suffered an injury in his senior year of high school and in his freshman campaign with the Vols.

Now, though, Calbert is healthy. And he made a splash this spring.

Calbert is huge, measuring in at 6-foot-5, 330 pounds. He started for the Vols at right guard on the first team offense in the Orange & White Game, further solidifying the hard work he put in during practices.

The Vols will welcome in Darnell Wright, Jackson Lampley, and Melvin McBride to the offensive line group this summer, so Calbert isn’t guaranteed anything moving forward. But he’s put himself in a very good position moving forward, and he should at least be part of UT’s O-line rotation if he doesn’t earn a starting job.
