No. 5 Tennessee handled Mississippi State on Senior Night on Tuesday, beating the Bulldogs 71-54 in front of a packed Thompson-Boling Arena crowd. The win ensured the Vols finished the season undefeated at home and gave UT their 26th-straight win at home.
The game also marked the final home game of the season, and it was the last time four Vol seniors got to play in front of a home crowd as Tennessee Volunteers.
After the game, head coach Rick Barnes and those four seniors spoke to the media about the game and the emotions of Senior Night.
Barnes discussed how this year’s senior class laid the foundation for what UT has become now, discussed the Vols’ defense and some poor play on offense, and much more:
