Jackson Bratton (Alabama commit) – No. 144 overall, No. 4 ILB
Bryson Eason – No. 190 overall, No. 6 ILB
Derek Wingo – No. 197 overall, No. 11 OLB

Martavius French – No. 247 overall, No. 8 ILB
Brandon Williams – No. 257 overall, No. 18 OLB
Jesus Machado – No. 342 overall, No. 29 OLB
Tyson Meiguez – No. 466 overall, No. 39 OLB

The late addition of Henry To’oto’o to Tennessee’s 2019 class really altered how hard they have to approach the linebacker position in the 2020 class. If they had missed out on To’oto’o, the Vols would’ve likely had to make linebacker one of their biggest priorities in this cycle. But getting the elite California prospect helps immensely, and now UT can be a little pickier with their linebacker selections in the 2020 class.

Still, the Vols likely will still want to take a couple linebackers in their 2020 class to keep bolstering depth and to add more play-makers to a very vital part of Jeremy Pruitt’s defense.

It may be difficult to do, but Pruitt seems determined to try and flip Jackson Bratton from Alabama. Bratton and Pruitt have known each other for years, so if there’s a team that can pull the Alabama prospect away from the in-state Tide, it’s probably Tennessee.

Also at inside linebacker are two highly-rated in-state players in Bryson Eason and Martavius French. The two are teammates over at Whitehaven in Memphis. Brandon Williams from New Orleans very much likes the Vols and has already visited multiple times. He seems like the most likely get among this group right now.
