The offensive line was a major point of emphasis for the Vols in their 2019 class, and it figures to be focused on heavily in the 2020 cycle as well. And Tennessee is already in on a number of elite prospects all across the offensive line.

The pipe dream for this cycle on the offensive line is flipping Paris Johnson from Ohio State. Barring that happening, the Vols are still in a great position with a number of top-150 overall linemen. And many of them are within their state borders.

Knoxville Catholic’s Bryn Tucker is the top offensive lineman in the state of Tennessee, and he figures to be high on UT’s list. But arguably higher on the Vols’ list of linemen in this cycle are the offensive tackles from the Memphis area. Omari Thomas, Marcus Henderson, and Chris Morris are all priorities for Tennessee in the 2020 cycle, and they all play in Memphis. Cooper Mays, the younger brother of Cade Mays, is a true center prospect and is a high priority target for the Vols in this class.

The top out of state options for the Vols on the offensive line are Justin Rogers, Tate Ratledge, Mitchell Mays, and Andrew Gentry. Rogers could also play defensive line, specifically defensive tackle.

Dominic Bailey is technically listed as a defensive tackle by some recruiting services, but it’s expected he could play offensive guard in college. He plays along both lines of scrimmage in high school. He’s already visited Tennessee before and is planning on visiting them again soon.
