Quarterback
Deuce Hogan (Iowa commit) – No. 334 overall, No. 13 pro-style
Haynes King – No. 616 overall, No. 16 dual-threat
Jeff Simms (Florida State commit) – No. 620 overall, No. 29 pro-style
Tennessee already has a commitment from a highly-rated quarterback in their 2020 class thanks to four-star Harrison Bailey committing to the Vols at the end of November of last year. But there’s a chance the Vols will try to take two quarterbacks in their 2020 class, and there are a few names to keep an eye on if that’s the case.
The three quarterbacks listed here are ones that have picked up offers from Tennessee since Jim Chaney took over as the Vols’ offensive coordinator. Both Hogan and Simms are already committed to other schools, but King has yet to pledge himself to a program yet.
Again, it remains to be seen if the Vols want to take another quarterback to go along with Bailey in this class. But if they’re intent on doing so, they’ll have a few options.
