2. Roman Harrison, DE/LB
Star Rating: 4-star
Overall: 309th
Position: 18th (weak-side DE)
Height/Weight: 6-foot-2, 235 pounds
I know, another four-star makes this list. But I truly believe that if Roman Harrison had been at a school like Grayson or Marietta in Georgia rather than Bainbridge, then he probably would’ve been a top-100 overall player and maybe a five-star.
Harrison had to play out of position his entire time at Bainbridge, and he still flourished. Harrison is more of a natural outside linebacker in UT’s 3-4 defensive scheme, but he had to play defensive tackle in high school because he was the biggest and strongest player on his team. Even with him playing out of position, he won Defensive Player of the Year in his district and made a phenomenal game-saving play in his team’s state title game.
Watch below as Harrison leaps over the line and blocks a potential game-winning field goal attempt. That play saved the game for Bainbridge, and they ended up winning the state championship not long after that.

In his senior season, Harrison totaled 97 tackles, a whopping 32 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, 18 quarterback hurries, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and that blocked field goal according to MaxPreps.
Also, you can’t tell me this is a high school senior and not a rookie in the NFL. This is the type of player the Vols are inheriting, and he’ll only get more in shape and conditioned while at UT.
