Though he played mostly running back in high school, Quavaris Crouch will get his first look at linebacker for Tennessee when he takes the practice field. He did play linebacker in his junior year of high school, and he shined in his limited time there, totaling over a dozen sacks while also running for over 3,000 yards on offense.

Crouch has the build and athletic explosiveness that Jeremy Pruitt and his staff want in an inside linebacker. But Crouch has the tools to play any of the linebacker positions in UT’s 3-4 defensive scheme. Injuries are a concern with Crouch, as he missed essentially all of his senior season due to a nagging injury and had to sit out the All-American Game as a precaution because of an injury.
