Tennessee’s crown jewel of their early signing class, Wanya Morris is expected to come in and compete for a starting job on Tennessee’s offensive line immediately as a true freshman.

There were concerns that Morris may have to have surgery to fix a lower body issue he played through for most of his senior season at Grayson High School, but it doesn’t appear he’ll need that surgery. Because of that, he should be able to go through spring practices normally in March and April.

Expect Morris to use spring as a time to get in better playing shape and familiarize himself with Tennessee’s new offense under Jim Chaney.
