Though he may not be quite as versatile as Tyus Fields, Warren Burrell is a talented cornerback who comes in on the underrated side of this class.
Burrell doesn’t have elite size, but he showed a lot of good technical play in high school and has pretty good speed. As mentioned earlier, both Alontae Taylor and Bryce Thompson likely have UT’s two outside corner spots nailed down. Burrell will develop and learn Tennessee’s defensive system in the spring, but it might be a year before he really cracks the rotation.
