Hey, remember when Butch Jones was still on the back of the Jumbotron on Neyland Stadium? Because that lasted all the way into the third month of 2018.

Butch Jones was fired as Tennessee’s head football coach in November of 2017, but his photo on the back of the huge video screen that sat atop Neyland Stadium remained for months after he was fired. It became the source of jokes, memes, frustration, and even anguish among Vol fans.

It wasn’t until March 5th of this year that Jones’ photo was finally removed and replaced. Workers also took down the other two photos on display on the Jumbotron, one of General Neyland and Reggie White, and replaced them as well. The photo of Neyland was replaced by another photo of the legendary coach, and White’s photo was replaced by former Vol Jason Witten.

Who did Jones’ photo get replaced by? None other than Vol legend Leonard Little, one of the captains of the 1998 National Championship team.
