Pros: Vol fans know who Jim Chaney is. He had success as Tennessee’s offensive coordinator under Lane Kiffin and Derek Dooley, and he’s been success at Arkansas and Georgia too. He even had a successful year at Pittsburgh. Chaney is known for a more pro-style offense but still mixing it up with some variations, and he’s shown that at his multiple stops. He has a ton of experience as a play-caller, and his scheme and philosophy seems to fit well with what Jeremy Pruitt wants to do at Tennessee.

Cons: Pulling Chaney away from Georgia seems very, very difficult. Chaney is probably one of the least likely candidates on this list, but he’s a name Vol fans will talk about. He has it made at UGA right now, and it would take a lot of money for Tennessee to pull him away from all that four and five-star talent with the Bulldogs.
