Just like with last year, Tennessee might’ve found a hidden gem at wide receiver with Dywan Griffin. The Vols offered the New Orleans prospect on December 7th, and they’ve kept tabs on him since. The Vols weren’t his first FBS offer, but they were his first Power Five offer.

Griffin has excellent speed and proved to be a great deep threat for Landry-Walker High School. It will be interesting to see if Tennessee pushes to get him to visit in January. Pruitt wants to add another skill position player on offense, and they’ll be targeting a few. It will be intriguing to see where Griffin falls in that pecking order.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver isn’t rated by the 247Sports Composite rankings, but the regular 247Sports rankings have him as the No. 628 overall prospect and the No. 81 receiver in the 2019 cycle.
