The Vols signed several defensive linemen in the early signing period, but they also missed on a few of their targets along the defensive interior. Tennessee doesn’t have a ton of spots left in this class, but they’d like to add another defensive lineman if possible, and Jared Harrison-Hunte is likely a prospect they’ll continue to target.

The 6-foot-4, 286-pound lineman from Middle Village, New York included the Vols in his top eight schools in early December, and he’s continued to keep Tennessee on his mind throughout his recruitment.

Harrison-Hunte has one official visit left, and he hasn’t decided where he’ll use that. He’s already visited Miami, Penn State, Ohio State, and Arizona State, but he has one last official left to take. If Tennessee doesn’t get that last trip, then they’re likely out of consideration for him.

Penn State is seen as the favorite for Harrison-Hunte right now. He’s rated as the No. 565 overall prospect and No. 36 defensive tackle in this cycle.
