Kurott Garland, DL
One of the latest additions to the Vols’ 2018 class, Kurrott Garland was discovered by Jeremy Pruitt and his staff while they browsed through the all-state teams in the state of Georgia. Garland was a big defensive lineman from Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia who wasn’t recruited heavily until the Vols offered him. Garland put up some eye-popping numbers in high school, though.
The 6-foot-3, 275-pound lineman was a consensus three-star but wasn’t even rated when the Vols first offered him. He made appearances in four games for UT this season, though he didn’t register any stats in any of the games. He came in against ETSU, Georgia, Charlotte, and Missouri.
