Tennessee Offensive Coordinator Hot Board

With Tyson Helton set to accept the job to become Western Kentucky’s next head coach on Monday, Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is now looking for his replacement as the Vols’ offensive coordinator.

Helton served as the Vols’ main play-caller and quarterbacks coach for just one season. He’s now left Knoxville for Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Pruitt will be looking for his second offensive coordinator in a year’s time.

There are several offensive minds who have connections to Pruitt out in the college coaching world, and there are a few intriguing names who have come up in regards to the Vols’ offensive coordinator position who could be legit candidates as well. There are also, as always, the dream candidates who Vol fans would love to see come to Tennessee but aren’t as likely to get the job offer.

We take a look at the most likely candidates for Tennessee’s vacant offensive coordinator position heading into this offseason.
