Missed tackles, poor coverage in the passing game, and almost no pressure off the edge (except for one Darrell Taylor sack). Just a completely abysmal day for this unit that doesn’t even warrant talking about.
Ben: F
The linebackers were as bad as they’ve been all season, missing tackle after tackle. Along with the defensive line and secondary, it contributed to Vanderbilt putting up nearly 500 yards of offense. It was the most disappointing position group on Saturday, because the group actually has some talent.
