Jarrett Guarantano didn’t get to do much and wasn’t helped by his offensive line when he was in the game, and he wasn’t in for very long. He took an absolute blast on a sack and ended up leaving by the end of the first quarter. Keller Chryst started out well, but 98 of his 173 yards came on two deep passes to Marquez Callaway, and only one of those was a good throw. He made some good tosses, but the bad definitely outweighed the good. Chryst’s interception right before the half was one of the main back breakers in this game, and after a good start on his first couple possessions, the defense figured him out. He went 4-of-5 for over 100 yards to start his day, but he finished the game going 3-of-14 with two picks.

Thanks to the offensive line, Jarrett Guarantano didn’t make it though the first quarter due to injury. As a result, Keller Chryst was forced into action on Senior Day. Chryst got off to a nice start, leading the Vols down the field for a touchdown. From that point on, it was a rough outing for the redshirt senior. He threw an interception just before the half in which Missouri returned the length of the field to flip field position. The Tigers would end up scoring just before the half, resulting in at least a 10-point swing. Chryst would complete just three of his 12 second half attempts, including another interception.
