Quarterback

For the most part, Jarrett Guarantano played a solid game on Saturday. Most of the issues in the passing game were because of the offensive line. That’s not a surprise to anyone who watched or listened to the game against Charlotte. There were a handful of missed throws by Guarantano, and his fumbled was a little on him and not just on the line. But all in all, the redshirt sophomore had a good game all things considered going on around him.

I thought Jarrett Guarantano played a tremendous game. His stat like doesn’t indicate it, but had his offensive line performed better, Guarantano’s stats would have been infinitely better. The redshirt sophomore was 16-of-21 for a touchdown and 172 yards. Guarantano is far from being the problem on offense. He doesn’t get an ‘A’ for me because he did miss a couple of receivers that could have resulted in bigger plays.
