It was pretty clear Tennessee’s plan on Saturday was to do enough to win and keep their players healthy. They accomplished their goal in that regard. But the offensive line was so horrid that it was hard to do much on offense. The defense did a great job and kept this game from potentially being a lot closer — or turning into a disaster — than it could’ve been.

Again, it’s hard to grade the coaching staff. It just isn’t fair to judge a coaching staff with the current players – specifically at O-line – on the roster. At the end of the day, Guarantano played well, the defense was lights out, and Tennessee won. That’s cause for a passing grade in my book.
