Tennessee won on Saturday, but it wasn’t a pretty one.
The Vols defeated Charlotte 14-3 on Saturday in what was easily UT’s worst offensive showing of the season. Tennessee managed a mere 20 rushing yards on 26 carries, and the offense scored just seven points. The Vols’ other touchdown came on a punt return by Marquez Callaway.
Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt spoke to the media after the game, and he addressed several different topics. He spoke about why UT’s offense struggled so much against the 49ers, if he thought Alontae Taylor’s hit was actually targeting, discussed his team’s effort, and much more.
