Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Nathanael: A+
Just like with Guarantano, Tennessee’s receivers couldn’t have had a better day. Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway, and Josh Palmer were all exceptional against a talented Auburn secondary. All three of those receivers made some incredible leaping grabs, and all three hauled in receptions of at least 25 yards. Dominick Wood-Anderson had a catch before exiting with injury, and Eli Wolf stepped up and made a great 12-yard grab as well. Jordan Murphy and Brandon Johnson got involved as well, but Saturday was all about the Vols’ trio of starters at the receiver position.

What more can you ask for from the receivers? Tennessee’s wideouts manhandled Auburn’s secondary on Saturday, winning 50-50 ball after 50-50 ball. Jauan Jennings announced his return as a go-to receiver, hauling in a 25-yard touchdown to give Tennessee the lead for good. Jennings finished with five catches for 71 yards and a touchdown. The “Dog” wasn’t the only receiver who asserted himself, as Josh Palmer had 84 receiving yards and Callaway had 55 receiving yards. Nine different Vols hauled in passes against Auburn.
