Tennessee carried the fight for 60 minutes to No. 21 Auburn on Saturday, and it resulted in the Vols’ first SEC victory since 2016.
The Vols upended the Tigers 30-24 on the road on Saturday afternoon, giving UT their first win over Auburn since 1999 and their first win over an SEC West opponent since 2010. The win also marked the first SEC victory for Jeremy Pruitt as a head coach, and it gave him his first win over a ranked team as head coach of the Vols as well.
As you can imagine, there was plenty to react to after the game on Saturday.
