VIDEO: Phillip Fulmer, Jauan Jennings Embrace After Vols’ Win

This time a year ago, Tennessee wide receiver Jauan Jennings was sidelined with an injury and Phillip Fulmer had a small role at the University of Tennessee. Now, the two are prominent features of Tennessee football, and both men embraced on the field after the Vols’ big win on Saturday.

Tennessee upset No. 21 Auburn on the road 30-24 on Saturday, and both Fulmer, who is now Tennessee’s Athletics Director, and Jennings embraced after the game ended.

Jennings finished the game with an impressive stat line, pulling in five receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown. Jennings made several physical and huge grabs in the game, and he, along with the rest of Tennessee’s receivers, were a big reason why the Vols pulled off the upset.

That touchdown for Jennings against the Tigers was his first touchdown against an SEC school since 2016. It was his second score of the season as well.
