When Tennessee takes on UTEP on Saturday, the outcome of the game should never be in doubt. The Miners enter Saturday’s game on a 14-game losing streak that dates back to the beginning of the 2017 season, and the Vols just destroyed ETSU 59-3 last week. UTEP lost to an FCS school (Northern Arizona) 30-10 to start the season then got shellacked by UNLV 52-24 last week.
The Vols should be able to score at will against the Miners on Saturday. But there will still be plenty to watch for Vol fans as Tennessee plays their last game before they take on Florida on September 22nd.
Tennessee still has plenty they need to work on after two weeks of play this season, and UTEP will be their last tuneup game before SEC play. We’ll be keeping our eye on five big things in particular on Saturday when the two teams meet on the field.
