Jerome Carvin, OL
Even before Brandon Kennedy’s season-ending injury, true freshman Jerome Carvin looked to be in line for some more snaps over the Vols’ next two games. He looked reliable when he came in against West Virginia, and Tennessee’s offensive line needs some help.
Whether it will be at guard or center, expect to see Carvin’s in-game reps increase significantly over these next two weeks. The Vols need to find their best five-man front on the line, and chances are Carvin could be one of those five. The only way to figure that out is to get him some more playing time, and the early enrollee has looked fairly impressive in his limited action so far.
