The 2018 NFL season has officially begun, and that means rosters around the league are completely finalized. Every team has filled out their 53-man roster and practice squads, and after all those cuts and moves, Tennessee now has 30 former players either on active rosters or practice squads.
Tennessee’s 30 former players are spread out among 20 NFL teams. Only 12 current teams in the league don’t have former Vols on their roster or practice squad heading into the 2018 season.
Five NFL teams (Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Carolina, Chicago, and Houston) have two or more former Vols on their roster/practice squads. The Steelers lead the way with five former Vols on their roster, and Kansas City has four former UT players on their team. Carolina, Chicago, and Houston all have two former Vols apiece on their team.
